McDreamy's Baby Boys

Look how adorable these boys are. Born on February 1ST.

"Patrick Dempsey is one proud papa as he cuddles new twin sons Sullivan Patrick and Darby Galen. Born Feb. 1 at an L.A.-area hospital, the boys made their debut with some help from dad, whose role as Dr. Derek "McDreamy" Shepherd on Grey's Anatomy came in handy. "I was watching everything that was going on (with the doctors), and you see a lot of that in the show," says Dempsey, who helped cut the cords – both of them!"

Katherine Heigl upset over Grey's spinoff?

I hope this is not true, there has been way too much tension on the set of Grey's Anatomy these past few months. But according to People Magazine, Katherine Heigl (Izzie) is upset about Kate Walsh's Spin off show. We'll see in the news to come if this is true or not. I hope this spin off doesn't cause anymore trouble between the Grey's Cast.

"Katherine Heigl is contractually obligated to remain on Grey's Anatomy despite a dispute over her salary, ABC Television says in a statement released Wednesday.

"Katherine is an integral part of Grey's Anatomy and its success. Fortunately, we have a long term contract to ensure she'll be with the show for several years to come," says the statement. "In recognition of her tremendous talent and value to the show, we recently approached Katherine with an offer to raise her compensation significantly above the terms of her current contract. We were surprised to see this gesture reported negatively in the press, and want to reassure fans that she will continue as Izzie Stevens."

On Tuesday, Heigl dropped out of contract talks with the show over salary, a well-placed source told PEOPLE at the time.

"Katie is disappointed and hurt that (producer) Touchstone doesn't value her as much as her other costars, especially Sandra Oh and Isaiah Washington," the source said

Heigl plays Dr. Isobel "Izzie" Stevens on the ABC hit medical drama."

Kate Walsh (Addison) of Grey's Anatomy set to get her own show

Kate Walsh A.K.A Addison of Grey's Anatomy is getting her own show. A greys anatomy spin off. Personally I think this is a stupid idea because A. You don't have a spin off of a show that is still on T.V. B. Everyone has grown to love her on Grey's, and I'm not too sure her show will do to well, but I guess we will see. Don't get me wrong I love Addison, shes one of my favorite characters, I just think its a bad idea.

"It looks like “Grey’s Anatomy” is about to go under the knife to cut out one of its stars… and breathe easy, Ellen Pompeo fans, it’s got nothing to do with the recent fiery ferry crash.

ABC has decided to pursue a “Grey’s” spin-off with sexy neonatal surgeon Dr. Addison Montgomery-Shepherd (played by the lovely Kate Walsh) as the lead character, according to an article in the Wall Street Journal.

The pilot has yet to be finalized and “Grey’s” creator Shonda Rhimes has yet to decide on a title.

However, Rhimes recently filled the cast in on the idea and revealed she will write a special two-hour episode to serve as the pilot, with a likely debut in May, according to the report.Walsh joined the “Grey’s” cast in May 2005, appearing towards the end of the season one finale.

When contacted by Access Hollywood, ABC had no further comment beyond what was in the Wall Street Journal article.

In order to focus on the project, Rhimes has reportedly back-burnered “Correspondents,” another pilot she was working on starring Jeffrey Dean Morgan, who played Katherine Heigl’s patient love interest Denny Duquette."

Also Taye Diggs has been tapped to star in the Grey's Anatomy spin-off currently in the works. No details are available on his character. Grey's will set the stage for the spin-off via an expanded two-hour episode scheduled to air in May in which Dr. Shepherd will consider an exit from Seattle Grace. Grey's writer and creator Shonda Rhimes is writing the episode and is expected to write the potential spin-off as well.

Grey's Anatomy adds McSteamy as regular

A lot of Greys Anatomy news has been circulating the Internet these past few days. Here is the latest and best news I've heard yet:

Eric Dane has joined the cast of ABC’s hit medical drama “Grey’s Anatomy” as a regular.

Dane plays plastic surgeon Dr. Mark Sloan, a.k.a. “McSteamy,” a role he originated in a guest appearance last season. He returned to the series in the final scene of the Thursday episode.

“Grey’s” marks Dane’s second co-starring stint as a hot young doctor on an ABC medical drama. Several years ago, he played Dr. Wyatt Cooper on the network’s “Gideon’s Crossing.”

Dane most recently appeared in the blockbuster “X-Men: The Last Stand.” On television, he also had a recurring role on WB Network’s “Charmed.”
